Dark Souls Remastered Nintendo Direct

FROM SOFTWAREDark Souls Remastered could be revealed at the Nintendo Direct

Prepare to Cry as Dark Souls Remastered lands on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on May.

From their first timid steps to absolute mastery, players will build their characters by strategically adapting to daunting foes, exploring haunting locations, and amassing a large collection of weapons, armour and magic spells to utilise for a truly unique playstyle.

The topic of a Dark Souls remaster has come up several times in the past, including whether the brutal game would be making its way over onto the hybrid console; the Nintendo Switch.

Remakes have been rumoured for release on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Dark Souls quickly became one of the most beloved franchises of the past decade and this remaster should allow a whole new wave of players to enjoy its satisfying gameplay loop of dying over and over again.

About BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe S.A.S. On the PC the game will render at native 4K resolution. While Nintendo has done a great job of providing a complete control scheme with the Joy-Cons, playing it in handheld mode just isn't going to be ideal for a demanding action game like Dark Souls.

Souls fans were excited about the prospect of the game coming to Switch for one primary reason: the ability to play it on the go. According to a recent report, Bandai Namco has plans to bring both Dark Souls II and Dark Souls III to Nintendo Switch. It is also now being speculated that the multiplayer will be expanded to support up to six players. The original was released in 2011 on Xbox 360 and PS3.

Even with no major changes, I'm still eager to get a definitive version of Dark Souls. It was ported to PC in 2012. Dark Souls Remastered is the latest in the trend of critically acclaimed remastered games.
