Dark Souls quickly became one of the most beloved franchises of the past decade and this remaster should allow a whole new wave of players to enjoy its satisfying gameplay loop of dying over and over again. REMASTERED marks the DARK SOULS series debut on a Nintendo platform, and for the first time ever can be played on the go with the unique capabilities of the Nintendo Switch console.
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe invites players back to the treacherous land of Lordran with DARK SOULS Ô : REMASTERED, available on 25 May, 2018 for the Nintendo SwitchÔ, PlayStationÒ4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and PC. Following some quite frankly overwhelming and confusing reactions on the internet, we've finally received confirmation through Nintendo's Mini Direct that Dark Souls would be coming to the Nintendo Switch in the form of Dark Souls Remastered. It will also feature improved framerate (60FPS) and 4K resolution when playing on a PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC, something original PS3 players will agree is badly needed.
We've confimed this means an upscaled 4K resolution and it will run at 60 fps.
