Seal has responded to backlash after he posted a meme that pictured Oprah Winfrey labelling Hollywood "sanctimonious" following her widely-praised Golden Globes speech. "What I reposted was commentary on the hypocritical and double standard nature and behaviour of Hollywood".
After Winfrey delivered a stirring speech Sunday evening at the Golden Globes, Monday's headlines were all about the talk show icon.
On Wednesday, the singer republished a pair of photos of Winfrey whooping it up with disgraced Tinseltown titan Harvey Weinstein.
As was previously reported, Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson told reporters that Weinstein and his company Miramax told him that he shouldn't work with Mira Sorvino or Ashley Judd because "they were a nightmare to work with". The 63-year-old actress and media mogul addressed sexual harassment or assault in Hollywood, she assured the you girls that a "new day is on the horizon" when there will be no victims of sexual misconduct and she pointed to Time's Up movement in Hollywood.
Seal did not reveal the sources behind his Instagram accusation. Of course, I love Oprah like everybody else.

Yet on Monday, Winfrey's longtime partner, Stedman Graham, told the Los Angeles Times that "it's up to the people" whether she will be president, adding, "She would absolutely do it".
