While most streamers under the age of 50 probably didn't get to watch the original "Twilight Zone" episodes, CBS has just announced today that they have ordered a reboot of the series led by "Get Out" genius Jordan Peele.
One of the smartest and funniest people in show business - best known as half of the comedy team Key & Peele - biracial actor Jordan Peele says he had "never seen a protagonist that looked and felt and thought like me in movies".
Win Rosenfeld and Audrey Chon will also serve as executive producers.
Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the new reboot of The Twilight Zone as we learn it.
Are you ready to travel through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind?
First broadcast in 1959, "The Twilight Zone" was a pioneer in television drama, known for its suspenseful music composed by French-Romanian Marius Constant and the black-and-white spiral of the credits.
CBS All Access has given a series order to a new take on the classic TV show from Rod Serling.
Created by Rod Sterling, the original Twilight Zone has always been considered the godfather of sci-fi television; the show explored humanity's hopes, despairs, and prides and prejudices in metaphoric ways. CBS All Access is now available online at CBS.com, on mobile devices via the CBS App for iOS, Android and Windows 10, and on Roku Players, Apple TV, Chromecast, Android TV, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Fire TV.
