Sad news, Suits fans - two of the show's main stars seem poised to leave the show after the seventh season.
Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle may not return for a potential Season 8 of "Suits". But off-screen Markle started dating Prince Harry, which launched her to larger fame.
Last year, actress Gina Torres, who played Jessica Pearson, left the show in season 5 but will return full-time in Suits spin-off series, which is as yet unnamed but set to premiere in 2018. But if Adams and Markle end up leaving, original series regulars Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter), Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulsen), and Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt) are expected to headline the series in Season 8.
Reps for Adams and the network declined to comment on the report; however, a source tells EW that discussions are still ongoing.
He had said at the time, "They all have things going on in their lives, we'll see what happens". The character, played by Gina Torres, was phased out in season six a year ago to pave the way for a pilot for her own spin-off show.
In the show, Mike Ross (Adams), an associate at a prestigious Manhattan law firm, is engaged to Rachel Zane (Markle), a former paralegal and now lawyer.
"I went to bed, and woke up in the morning and realized "Oh, yeah". According to sources, there is a wedding that will take place - Rachel and Mike's obviously - in the second half of the season 7.
