The Moto X4 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 20,999. It is available exclusively on online retailer Flipkart.
Plenty has changed in five years, but the now Lenovo-owned Motorola looks to avoid repeating history with the Moto Tab. Also, the volume control of all devices can be done separately. The screen receives protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Thanks to the curved glass at the back, the phone is extremely comfortable to hold in the hand and is also very grippy unlike phones with a matte finish. Moto X4 will go on sale in India at midnight on Monday, with launch offers such as exchange discounts, up to 10 percent off on HDFC credit and debit cards, buyback guarantees, and EMI schemes. And let's say that this technology is now on the Moto X4 phone.
Lenovo has also created a couple of accessories for the new Moto Tab. It has a 5.2-inch IPS LCD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution display.
The Moto X4 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, 2.2 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 508 GPU, along with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its front side under home button. The company claims that if you charge the device for 15 minutes, the Moto X4 will be able to deliver 6 hours of power via the bundled TurboPower charger.
The Moto X4 is the only smartphone in this price bracket that has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. On the software front, Moto Tab runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and comes with a number of customisations to make it a good entertainment device.
The phone has dual camera setup, with a camera of 12 megapixels and another 8 megapixels. While the 12MP sensor has the Dual Autofocus Pixel feature with a f/2.0 aperture lens, the 8MP sensor is an ultra-wide angled lens with an aperture size of f/2.2. In addition, the phone has a 16-megapixel front camera flashlight.
