The Police also announced that vehicular movement in the state between 12 midnight on 17 November till after the voting period on the day of the election.

"Also, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is very prepared to conduct the election".

"That is to further say that with only 4,608 polling booths in Anambra State, it statistically means 11 armed security personnel are allocated for each of the 4,608 polling booths in the state".

"What the good people of Anambra State should watch out for is the well-known rigging antics of INEC". This, it explained, is because the unions could mobilise vigilante groups in their various communities to checkmate the activities of the IPOB during the governorship election since Anambra State has one of the strongest density of vigilante groups in the South-east.

"A country like Nigeria riddled with institutionalised injustice can not conduct a free and fair election. "Security identification tag will be provided for all the security and safety agencies, INEC officials, election observers/monitors and others that have statutory duties to carry out in the election". In a statement issued by the media/National Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful which was made available to Weekly SUNRISE NIGERIA in Enugu last week, the separatists urged the South-Easterners to make contact with their relations within and outside the country with a view to making the boycott of the poll effective.

The coalition also condemned the federal government's massive deployment of armed security operatives to the state to provide security formations before and during the Saturday election.

"All of us ran away when somebody said it was a bomb".
