The freshly released Moto X4 has been received with enthusiasm even if it has been three years since Lenovo launched the last smartphone of the X series. After a few launch delays, the phone was launched at an event in Delhi and it was announced that the Moto X4 will be sold online via Flipkart exclusively.

The Moto X4 has been launched with Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box and we expect it to receive the Oreo update in the coming months.

The smartphone is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. The phone comes with two storage and RAM variants: one sports 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while the other features a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

There is a 12MP + 8MP primary camera that comes with "Dual Autofocus Pixel" technology and a 16MP selfie camera with a low-light mode. The Moto X4 packs a 3000mAh battery which also supports 15W TurboPower. There is also one button navigation mode that gets rid of the Android navigation buttons, and lets you use gestures on the fingerprint sensor to navigate through the menu. The company has also stated that the device comes with IP68-rating which means that the device is water-resistant, protecting the internals from splashes, spills and puddles of water in addition to dust. On the connectivity front, you get USB Type-C port, dual-SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLTE HD voice calling, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

Apart from some really cool features in the audio segment, the Moto X4 comes with Amazon Alexa integrated. The company also claims that it's the first smartphone in the country to run on the new Snapdragon 630 processor. The back panel also features a big camera hump that features the dual-camera setup. Stay tuned for Moto X4 review. It comes in Super Black and Sterling Blue colour options. It also struggles in low light, and doesn't offer the raw format that most enthusiasts crave.

Talking about the design, the Moto X4 is blessed with an anodized aluminum frame with a wraparound glass design and 3D contoured back. The 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 22999. This battery supports Turbo Charging that is touted to charge the smartphone in just 15 minutes giving it up to 6 hours of usage time. In terms of card offers, the Flipkart will offer 10% discount when using a HDFC Bank debit or credit card.
