Adrian Phillips tipped Lambo's kick at the line of scrimmage, but it still cleared the crossbar. Chargers kicker Nick Novak connected on the extra point attempt to give Los Angeles a 7-6 lead before halftime.

The kick gave Jacksonville its first three-game winning streak since 2013 and ended a six-game losing streak in the series.

Jacksonville was able to overcome two fourth-quarter interceptions by quarterback Blake Bortles. The final result was a 20-17 Jags overtime win.

"Yeah, the thing about it is, we're confident of everybody in this locker room", said Jaguars defensive end Calais Campbell. With Bortles desperately trying to get his team in field goal range to force overtime, Bosa inexplicably hit him way after the incompleted pass.

The Jaguars won the coin toss in overtime and elected to receive the ball first. "To me, that was inexcusable. When the game is on the line, they try us and we make a big play". Tashaun Gibson recovered, but the Chargers managed to keep the Jaguars from scoring when Tre Boston corralled his second interception of the game.

The Chargers led for most of the game but dropped to 3-6 on the year, and their playoff hopes appear to be on life support. - Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin.

"I put an O-lineman on his (butt) on that play and I was just talking trash", Colvin said.

First and foremost, Perryman is one of the best tackles on the team, so he should improve a run defense that's giving up 135 rushing yards a contest, second-worst in the NFL. Fournette failed to score in a game for the first time this season. It'll be the last time it happens. And I think that kind of motivates you a little bit.

Both teams got off to a slow start on offense.

Wide receiver Arrelious Benn left the game with a knee injury in the first quarter and did not return. Bortles overthrew Lee on the ensuing play and was picked off for the second time.

The Chargers had their own issues. However, undrafted Chargers rookie Austin Ekeler fumbled after Malik Jackson hit his helmet on the football. The Jaguars went for a two-point conversion and converted the score with another pass from Bortles to Lee.

Lambo connected on a 34-yard field goal to take the game to overtime.

"I'm exhausted right now", Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said. The Jaguars ran three times and sent in Lambo. Los Angeles' Joe Barksdale (foot) and Jacksonville's Jermey Parnell (knee) missed the game after being listed as questionable Friday. After facing the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, the Chargers host the Buffalo Bills at the StubHub Center, then travel on a short week to face the Dallas Cowboys, who will be without talented running back Ezekiel Elliott, on Thanksgiving Day. Nothing went our way, at all, we had so many plays that went against us, balls that didn't bounce our way. Before the game, many of Bradley's former players and assistants greeted the coach in a reunion on the field.

The Chargers play two of their next three games on the road after the bye week.
