The New York City rapper has revealed herself to be the courageous straphanger who lobbed her cup of soup at a belligerent man aboard an L train and slapped him as he went on a racist tirade.

Princess Nokia, the fresh face of hip hop and critical darling known for songs that celebrate a multicultural upbringing in New York City and honor the complexity of her communities, is now known for one more very important thing: heroically rebuking a racist man attempting to harass MTA passengers with a bevy of scathing words. In the video passengers, in true NY fashion, don't put up with the antagonizing asshole and force him off the train at the Bedford Ave station.

Princess Nokia is taking credit for throwing soup on a racist subway passenger recently.

The apparently intoxicated, Lime-A-Rita holding man, then directed the racial slur at Princess Nokia, at which time she said other men on the train held her hand and comforted her. In the video above, you can see fellow straphangers come to her aid and eventually kick the man off the train. It's insane to see shit like this popping off, and suffice it to say, the racist man will probably think twice before he starts popping off with racial slurs.

"It takes a lot of risk, trying to stand up to racists and bigots".

Frasqueri defended her actions against the man in follow-up tweets.

"This bigot called a group of teenage boys "n**gers" on the train, so I stood up and slapped him, and everybody on the train backed me up", she says on Twitter. He said he used the word to "mak [e] a point" and that he feels "bad" but he's "not that sorry".

If what happened wasn't enough, the man in the video actually shared Facebook posts to help identify himself.

Don't mess with Princess Nokia.

The enraged man appeared drunk as he held a can of what is believed to be a pre-mixed margarita and lime, when he heckled others riding the NY train from Brooklyn.
