Reports have claimed that the German global has already reached a pre-agreement with the Red Devils to join them on a free move once his contract with the Gunners expires next summer.

The Gunners chief has had Germany global playmaker Ozil and England worldwide forward Welbeck back in training this past week after the pair missed the final round of World Cup qualification matches with respective knee and groin problems.

Ozil has been restricted to just five appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season.

As a result, his future at Arsenal, who he joined in 2013 from Real Madrid, has been in doubt for some time.

"There's a rumour that he goes to Manchester United".

He shouldn't do it. Ozil is a quality player.

Jose Mourinho's Manchester United were seen as a possible destination as well as the major clubs in German and Spain. If you see his skills, it's just unbelievable what he can do on the pitch.

'Ozil going back to Germany? But I'm not his agent so I don't know where he ends up.

The agent of Mesut Ozil has claimed that talks over extending the German playmaker's contract at Arsenal are now progressively positively, despite the seemingly interminable nature of negotiations. "It's a really good option because we get another national player back in our league", Riedle added.

"Even if that did happen, he wants to play in the Premier League for at least two to three more years".

Arsenal have 13 points from seven Premier League games so far and are fifth in the standings.
