Nintendo promotes Super Mario Odyssey with live action music video ahead of release

The upcoming Super Mario Odyssey has earned heaps of praise before its release with many comparing it to the widely loved The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Switch as well.

Oh, and Nintendo transformed Super Mario Odyssey into a musical for the game's latest trailer. For those who already own Amiibo, then every single Amiibo will work with "Super Mario Odyssey". And yes, it's a goofy send-up of the game's New Donk City level, which features human characters alongside the diminutive heroic plumber.

Unfortunately, there are no answers to be found in the video. And now we know when it'll be released. It also revealed an assist mode for younger gamers which is great news for families.

The gameplay trailer also showed the plot of the game. With that out of the way, it's time to take a trip around the world and decide which of the kingdoms looks the best!

Look out for Super Mario Odyssey to be released on October 27 on the Switch. If you can get past the cringey host, this is a fun video to watch.

The song has been a key component of Nintendo's marketing material ever since the platform holder unveiled the game back in January earlier this year at its Switch preview presentation, but now the song, "Jump Up, Super Star" has been remade in live action. Goomba Amiibos are used here and it makes for a amusing but cute creation.
