Each of the men offered up a unique vision for the movie and they both had very strong ideas about the direction of the film.
However, although Whedon is reworking the film's plot, he may not get credit for overseeing "Justice League" ever since director Zack Snyder backed out, Variety confirmed. Superman's tache issues; the sudden, legitimately sad departure of Zack Synder; reshoots galore - does Joss Whedon have any chance of salvaging the troubled superhero flick? And though the studio hasn't said anything official about Affleck's future as Batman, the actor is confident that Justice League reflects the best ambitions of the DC Extended Universe. Zack had a family tragedy, and stepped off, which was frightful.
But it sounds as though the entire "Justice League" movie was setting that up.
From what we understand, the film was set to be more of an opening act for the aforementioned villain, but now, Steppenwolf's "credibility as the movie's big bad", has been strengthened.
Ben Affleck doesn't want us to worry about Justice League.
The Man of Steel moviemaker stepped away from the upcoming DC Comics movie and handed the reins over to the Avengers director in May (17), following his daughter Autumn's suicide in March, and Affleck, who plays Batman in the blockbuster, reveals that while the filming process was different, it turned out to be seamless. "We got really lucky that he stepped in". And the original ending of the movie from what I understand was, he was kind of playing the Silver Surfer role, with Darkseid playing the Galactus role, and the ending of the movie was a cliffhanger and Justice League 2 was going to be Justice League vs Darkseid, Ya know, Darkseid arrives at Earth.
"Well, the stuff that I had to do were just really small little bits and pieces, nothing necessarily having to do with tone".
A new version of the synopsis for "Justice League" puts Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) at the center of the film's story. "I've never worked on a movie that didn't do reshoots", Affleck said. They're getting it right.
If you're still keeping up, it now appears that Whedon has changed the ending of Justice League.
For now, we'll have to wait and see.
