Mensa took to Instagram and claimed that the Autobiography is his "blood, sweat and tears". Based on a true story.

Chicago rapper Vic Mensa recently released The Manuscript EP - he called it a "capsule" that was meant to warm us up for his forthcoming studio album.

Check out the tracklist for Vic Mensa's debut album below, and pre-order the album now on iTunes. Mensa dropped visuals for the latter track earlier this month on Youtube.

By looking at this list you can tell from the features this shit is going to be hot. It will feature Weezer, Chief Keef Syd, The-Dream, Joey Purp, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.

Since Vic's a member of Roc Nation, it's no surprise that Jay Z was in the house during a listening party for The Autobiography in Los Angeles last night, but it IS dope to hear the glowing endorsement Hov gave Vic. No I.D. helms as the project's executive producer. Braun praised Vic for having not only good music but a message behind his lyrics saying, "Vic is a very, very special artist because in today's day and age a lot of today's artists use their voice to make hits, but they don't use their voice much to help people". "He even engineers himself sometimes", said the Hip Hop legend. "He's an incredible artist, like a once in a lifetime artist", the Brooklyn-bred legend proclaimed.

Keep your eyes peeled for this one.

As previously reported, The Autobiography will arrive July 28.
