Indrani said she would donate half the sale proceeds from the translation to ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) and rest to the abandoned women prisoners in the Byculla jail in Mumbai, where she is lodged.
Alleging that Manju Shetty was beaten up by a woman staffer, other inmates assaulted the prison staff on Saturday morning. Samples of her viscera will be sent for forensic analysis.
The post-mortem report also revealed that her internal organs, including the lungs, were damaged.After receiving the post-mortem report, the six jail staffers, one officer, and the five jail guards who were suspended for dereliction of duty inside the prison, were booked on charges of murder.

A day after inmates of the Byculla women's prison went berserk to protest the alleged murder of a 35- year-old lifer, high-profile undertrial Indrani Mukerjea has come under scanner on suspicion of instigating the prisoners. Shetye had collapsed in the women inmates' barrack number 5 (circle number 1) around 5.30 pm on Friday.
According to a post mortem report from JJ hospital, Shetye had sustained 11 to 13 contusions all over her body. Complaining of chest pain, she was taken to JJ Hospital, where she was later declared dead. Her relatives said she was not ill and that they were informed only after her death. She was designated as warden and her job was to maintain law and order and ensure adherence to rules and regulations like police person. "It's also possible that something might have happened between her and the jail staff which led to her being slapped her or more", the officer said. Case of rioting and criminal conspiracy has been registered in the Nagpada police station.
